Foods to Avoid for Weight Loss

There are numerous Foods that needs to be avoided for Weight Loss. Losing weight can be a little bit difficult, as it is a matter of what you eat and how much you eat. Daily cardio exercise and the dietary changes over the course of a year may produce substantial weight loss results.

Consume Foods with No Calories – Water and fiber are the two important things that have no calories. Including this in a large quantity in your diet is good for your health.

Carbohydrates – Refined processed carbohydrates, besides being a major cause of weight gain, obesity, diabetes type 2, and many other diet related diseases, they also slow down metabolism. All digested carbohydrates turn into sugar which becomes fat. In order to increase your metabolism, allow only 20 to 60 grams of carbohydrates daily. Also, try to get those carbohydrates from natural sources such as fresh vegetables and fresh low carbohydrate fruits such as berries.

Fruit Juices

Eating raw fruit is better instead of fruit juice, because fruits contain more fiber, and the juice contains more sugar than the actual fruit. Also, juice is rich in calories and carbohydrates.

Caffeine – It has been proved that caffeine, when placed in a low-calorie beverage such as black coffee or unsweetened tea, raises your metabolism, and causes to burn more calories. Beware that too much caffeine has harmful health effects. You can replace coffee with a natural fat burner such as Green Tea.

High-Sodium Foods – Items such as hot dogs, cheese, tomato sauce, canned and dried soup, deli meat, frozen pizza, potato and pasta mixes and frozen dinners increases your risk of high blood pressure, heart attack, stroke, and also osteoporosis.

Saturated Fat – Avoid foods that contain saturated fat such as red meat, butter, whole-fat cheese, milk and other dairy products, and coconut and palm oils. It not only raises cholesterol levels and clogs arteries but also increases your risk of heart disease and cancer.

Avoid Sodas – It is good to avoid sodas. Instead, drink flavored water or unsweetened iced tea.

Bakery Foods – Stop consuming potato chips, popcorn, cookies, candy, ice cream and cakes.

Processed Foods – Try to avoid processed foods, because the processing of these foods removes all the things that helps you lose weight and replaces it with sugar, corn syrup and hydrogenated oils to make you fatter.

Dinner – Try not to eat past 2 to 3 hours before bedtime.
